Rantegosa is an historic 16th-century hunting lodge, set within the private grounds of Villa Bombrini. It offers a unique and exclusive atmosphere, just a short walk from the centre of Chiavari and the sea.

The property is available for exclusive hire: up to 10 guests have access to the entire house — from the garden to the reception rooms, from the kitchen to the pool with jacuzzi.

The garden and pool

Nature embraces
every moment

Sheltered within the grounds of Villa Bombrini, the house is surrounded by nature. The exclusive garden is bordered by fragrant flower beds, shaded by a magnificent centuries-old magnolia.

The pool with jacuzzi — 90 cm deep, unheated, salt water system with 4 hydromassage jets — is perfect even for young children. Open from April/May until the end of September, depending on weather conditions.

At the rear, a sun terrace and outdoor shower complete the wellness area. A charcoal barbecue is also available in the garden.

Is a private chef available?
Yes. At the time of booking you can request a private chef service: a professional chef will prepare a menu cooked especially for you, or offer a Ligurian cooking class. Contact us for details and availability.
Check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 16:00 to 18:00. Check-in is not possible before 14:00. Check-in after 20:00 is available on request only (subject to availability) and incurs a supplement of €20. Please let us know your expected arrival time well in advance. Check-out by 10:00 on the day of departure.
Is the whole house ours?
Yes. Both floors of the house are exclusively for guests, except for the private office in the main living room. The garden is for exclusive use. The Green Room is made available when there are more than 6 guests.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included. The fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal to prepare it yourselves.
Can we bring children?
Children are very welcome. Children under 2 stay free of charge. We offer up to 2 travel cots free of charge (available in the Red and Yellow rooms, on request at the time of booking). A retractable safety gate is installed at the top of the stairs.
Are pets allowed?
We are sorry, but pets are not permitted.
How do we get there?
We are a 10-minute walk from Chiavari's historic centre and 15 minutes from the seafront. The railway station is a 15-minute walk away. From Genoa airport, Chiavari can be reached by train (45–90 min.) from Piazza Principe station.
